Fastest man in the world

Besides spending some quality time with my boys this summer, been trying to follow the Olympics and have always enjoyed watching the track and field races.

The adrenaline that goes when you are in a race, its almost like you have to psych your self out just like someone is chasing you with an axe. I feel these athletes that I have been watching are the best of the best and here is a view of the 100 Meter Men's finals.

20 years old Usain Bolt from Jamaica dusted past the competition setting a new world record.

Watch it tonight, NBC 7:30pm - 10pm
Track and Field 100m Finals!

8/08/08 - The start of World Olympics

The World Olympics kick-off officially started today and I must say I was blown away by the ceremony that was held in Beijing with about ninety-three thousand fans who watch the all the best athletes around the world to compete for the best of the best. It was pretty neat to see the lighting of the Cauldron where the most famous Olympian gymnast Li Ning

Another highlight was the little boy hero named Lin Hao who was walking with 7 ft. 6 in. Yao-Ming. Supposedly the young boy was a victim of the Sichuan Earthquake and was stuck in the earth quake and half of the kids in his class died, the little kid saved some of the kids.

The slogan for this year's olympics is "One World, One Dream"

I was disappointed at a few things how North Korea and South Korea did not come in as 1 country. Another thing that disturbed me was when Taiwan came out they announced it as Chinese Taipei and the people were holding Olympic flags.

For where half of my roots come from Taiwan, I was a bit disturbed to see this. It shouldn't be about politics when it comes down to the Olympics and unfortunately even in this day and age it exists.

I thought this logo I found on someone's flickr was interesting for the olympics:
Reminds me of one of our earlier designs, here's a hint - "Higher Law"
